Under Contractions at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music
“Under Contractions”, released August 2014, is Tal Gur’s critically acclaimed 3rd album which received many warm reviews and have recently reached #4 on CMJ’s Jazz Chart.
“The starting point of the composition is a birth of an idea which is a consequence of non inspirational vacuum. It develops musically throughout the next pieces as the band uses contemporary improvisational models to build the primary motif, alongside reconstructing meaningful events in life such as birth of a child, migration and perspectives over ongoing war situation.” – Tal Gur

I’m super excited to release Under Contractions in Israel.
The shows will take place at Levontin 7, Monday 4.6.2015 at 8:00pm and at Uganda in Jerusalem, Tuesday 4.7.2015, 9:00pm.
